Another bridal at Mayfield Park. I love this place! When Abby was eyeing dresses, she saw found a Watters dress she loved and found out Watters had a factory in Dallas. She and her mom drove up there to check out what they had at a big sale, expecting to wait in a huge line for hours with 50 other dress hoarding brides. Before she even realized it, she found the exact dress (there was only one, in her size!) at an unbelievable price (can you say 80% off?), and she and her mom were out of there in 40 min. and back on the road to Austin!

After a crazy afternoon of traffic and mobs of people at Zilker Botanical Gardens, Jen and I relocated to Mayfield Park, a small public park near Laguna Gloria, known for its small ponds and a boisterous family of peacocks. Despite the heat, we ended up with a couple of laughs and a set of pretty pictures. Take a look!

I met Abby and Lindsay together, both brides-to-be and good friends. They both booked with me at the same time and both have their weddings at Kali-Kate! My good friend Jenny and I both got engaged around the same time and helped plan each others weddings. It was really nice having someone to talk to about wedding planning without feeling like we were overwhelming our fiances and families. Putting invitations together and making wedding favors over a glass of wine (ok several) was a bonus!

I met Nikki and Scott at Jessa+Jon’s wedding last September. They are getting married at the newly remodeled Kindred Oaks. I have a feeling they are going to be easy to shoot because they are so natural in front of the camera and so in love. I can’t wait!
