Engagement: Lindsay+Ben

Lindsay and Ben are a bright young couple who met at A&M. They are going to be my first wedding of the new year! I’m really excited. Kali-Kate is the venue, and with the weather getting a little colder (slowly but surely) it’s going to be nice and cozy by the huge fireplace where the reception will be held. I can’t wait :) We had a great time finding little places to shoot by the Whole Foods Market downtown. That place is a madhouse on the weekends! Especially with the new Anthropologie (yum!) right next door. Here are a few from our session:

Sarah+Paul

I second shot for Tyler Schmitt last weekend at the BEAUTIFUL Driskill Hotel. I couldn’t believe how gorgeous everything was. Sarah and and her mom worked really hard at planning and I’d say their hard work paid off! From the slideshow, to cakes, to the seating cards, to framed pictures of the couple at every table, they really did a great job, and I got a great sense of who they are just being surrounded by their energetic family and friends. Congrats Sarah and Paul!

Xtreme: Day 3

It’s so hard to express the imense gratitude and appreciation I have for all the wonderful people I’ve met at this seminar. This trip to NYC was challenging, exciting, and eye-opening at the same time. It really forced me to look at everything I am doing, gave me a better sense of what my goals are at this point in my life, and gave me the tools to help me get on the right track to accomplishing them. I’ve got A LOT of work to do!! I’m so glad I got to meet other photographers who have simialr goals, even though we are all at different stages in our careers. I’ve been inspired by these people in so many different ways, and I hope we all try to keep in touch. I wasn’t able to take a picture with everyone, but here are a few:
